Should
you become ill with the flu please be considerate of others. Stay
home if you have a fever, cough or sore throat. Clean your hands
often during the day, especially after coughing or sneezing.
Always cover your cough/sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve and
discard used tissue in a waste basket.

Hopkinton Mercury Recovery Project
The Hopkinton Board of Health is working with
other town officials to offer Hopkinton residents
and businesses a central facility to dispose of
their household items that contain mercury.
Fluorescent bulbs may be returned during
business hours to Hopkinton

and thermostats, as well as all button cell
batteries from watches, cameras, calculators,
hearing aids, sneakers, "talking books"
and digital organizers may all be recycled at the
Board of Health in Town Hall during business
hours. Button batteries only may also
be recycled at the Wood St. Recycling Drop-off
center.
If you have any questions or comments you may
contact the Hopkinton Board of Health,
508-497-9725. You may also contact Tom
